People with learning disabilities and autism experience poorer health than other people

We will use information from the 2011 Scottish Census to find out why

The Scottish Census looks at lots of information from where people live to how people feel about their health

Information on 26,349 people with learning disabilities and 31,712 people with autism is included in the Scottish Census

We will use this to find out a number of things, such as:

  1. How many men and women with learning disabilities and autism live in Scotland?

2. What age are they?

3. How many people with learning disabilities and autism are in paid work?

4. How do people with learning disabilities and autism in Scotland feel about their health?

We will write reports that will help us understand more about the health and lives of people with learning disabilities and autism in Scotland
