This project looks at spending on adult learning disabilities health and social care all over Scotland.

What we did

We looked at spending information for the years 2012 - 2015.

The spending on adult learning disabilities services was compared across all health boards and all councils in Scotland.

What we found

We found that how much is spent is different in different parts of Scotland.

This tells us that health and social care may not be fairly shared out across Scotland for adults with learning disabilities.

A report was written and it has been published in a health journal.

We have published this information on our website to help guide service planning and design across Scotland.
