Learning and teaching

Our postgraduate teaching programme aims to improve quality of life and promote well-being in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Our unique Positive Behaviour Support programme provides flexible online learning at MSc, Diploma, and Postgraduate Certificate levels. The programme integrates evidence-based research and best practice to provide students with the skills to be leading practitioners supporting people with intellectual disabilities, particularly those with complex needs.  The approach of the programme is practice-based, enabling students to apply their learning in practice, while still gaining a university qualification. Students will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge based on their current professional roles.

This programme is led by Dr Anne MacDonald.
